-I'm almost certain it's "I try to hide from the unholy sound of it" and NOT "I try to appellate a holy sound of it"

-I also think it's definitely "With every fake smile" but I'm not sure he uses the word "Turning the heart vile"

Has anyone noticed that when the song begins, it sounds like it continues from the previous track...so Remnants is an intro of sorts to Asylum. At least that's how it sounds to me. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

"This has gone on too long (too long)" The second "too long" sounds like it was sung by someone other than David. Is this the "gang vocals" David spoke of in an interview in (I think) Metal Hammer?

Wait til the CDs released... undoubtedly there will be a lyrics sheet as there has been one for the previous four albums (though I hated the handwritten lyrics sheet in Indestrucible...maybe it's my 40+ yr old eyes but I could not read it!)

I thought it was the word vile too, but luckily i have pretty good bose speakers with some good software. From what i hear, it sounds like a B instead of a V. Maybe turning the heart bile means turning the heart to shit? But turning the heart vile sounds more sense.

Nevermind, i switched media monkey to the vocal amp preset and turned off dfx....he does say (turning the heart vile)

and isn't "fore the memory is killing me"........that's what i hear through my studio headphones........can't wait to hear this whole album damn it......i am MADLY in love w/ this song.
