My poems first started being published when I was 14. I've since lost
the talent for it. But, here are some of those poems, and a few that
weren't published.


[center]Baby
[i]With a brain of stone
and a heart of gold,
she sometimes acts very cold.

But when she does,
she does not mean,
mean to be the way she seems.

She is a child,
she does not know,
how to act,
or where to go.

Her name is Baby,
she is a cat,
please disregaurd the way she acts.

Eternal She

Contradictions of the soul
Neither light nor darkness shall claim her whole
She walks the night
She walks the day
And she shall rest when they BOTH fade

Monsters
Folklores,
ledgends,
fairytales,
Stories told 'round campfires.
Fears put to rest.

There are no monsters under your bed,
And they're not in your closet.

They're sitting next to you in class,
standing behind you in the checkout line,
and attending your funerals.

They look just like YOU!

Props
It draws my arms to the ground,
my eyes continuously follow,
I hear nothing,
I feel everything,
confussion sets in.
My legs carry me as if I were on air.
My mind a total loss,
I think of leaving,
to where I don't know.
Knives,
Fire,
Pills,
and thrills.
All think I sound good.
They call to me and I to them.
I salute THE END.

Stuborn
Petals so soft,
an oh so strong stem,
denying what it needs it pushes us away.
the sun for heat and fuel.
it doesn't eat keeps cool.
water quenches fire,
but not his desire.
Hide and cower,
beware of the shower.
You might perk up,
you might just see,
you can be anything you want to be.
Ponder and wait,
for that cold, hard slate.
go on thinking like that and you only friend
might just be THE END.

Growing Up
Down the path of growing up
I walk through the darkness alone
Afraid to go further
I turn to look where happiness once shown
The light has turned dim
Now the future is so bleak
I look deeper in the trail
For the answers that I seek
locked up in myself
I dream of the past
Not sure of what to do
I try to walk fast
The darkness swallows me up
Will the future ever arrive
Until it does
Can I, alone survive?

The Unicorn
So graceful and free
Dancing on air
The unicorn soars
Without a care
Magical Glitter
Follows in trail
Drifting and flowing
As the unicorn sails
A single horn
Leading his way
The sun gleaming down
On a glorious day
A leap and a jump
The unicorn flies
Into the heavens
Without any good-byes

[b][u]Midnight Moon
I love you
like midnight loves the moon
to be without you
life would lose it's beauty all too soon
what good is day
without a sacred night
to hold all secrets within the midnight moon

In the Begining
Along my paraless flight tonight
I find the winds are ready to fight
My sight is well
My sences clear
And all I can see is you standing here
My life is headed in your direction
Don't turn my dreams into rejection
You are the star that lights my way
As long as you shine
My love will stay

Their good poems. Sad you lost the talent for it. You should try a comeback, like Brett Favre. (Sorry if your not a football fan, but thats the only example I could come up with).

LOL...I lost my job, moved to a different city, and broke my P.C. I have a new one now though. So, watch out....lol.
