That's quite a group of contestants he's up against. For me personally, to see guys like Corey Taylor, Benjamin Burnley, and Shaun Morgan makes it tough for me because I'm also fans of Seether, Breaking Benjamin, and Stone Sour. It'd probably would have made it even harder five years ago when I was a die hard Green Day fan, but now when I look at Bille Joe for the smartass punk that he is, I do not consider him in the least to qualify for this contest.
I'm voting for David though. He can definitely 'electrify' a stage and make the crowd roar!

...... And he's only at 1.65% while Jered Leto takes the lead at 42.50%, followed by Myles Kennedy at 18.07%, and Brent Smith at 13.28%.

Okay Disturbed1's, start voting for David. He needs to win; we gotta give him all of our support!

Actually he's doing quite well considering; the Battle of the fans drew in 7.2 millions votes (but since you can vote multiple times, I'd assume it was more like a few 10s of 1000s of people overall). Since this new poll was broad-casted right next to the results, the vast majority of people who saw it first are fans of the 16 bands that participated in the last competition (it's no surprise that the guys doing better than him are all champion and runner-up bands).

David is doing the best of anyone that didn't compete in the Battle of the Fans, and in a few cases better than the frontmen who did.

Disturbed1s, not many people know about this poll yet so if we push early, we can make some excellent headway. Before I was able to make a 0.8 difference by myself.

I tweeted David about this a while ago, and he posted it for all to see. The flood has begun.

Jared Leto? Seriously? I saw his band in concert years ago and I wasn't impressed. Saw Seether in the same show and they DID impress me!

It's a fight for survival now; tomorrow at 6 PM Eastern Fuse will be eliminating the 10 frontmen with the lowest votes. It'll be minuscule, but everyone left will receive a percentage boost after their scores get divided evenly (kind of like that movie The One). ATM the guys set for elimination are:

Looks like the fanbases are scrambling. Shaun Morgan, Sully Erna and Tim McILrath's fans had a small surged but only Sully escaped the 10. M. Shadows and Shimon Moore pushed as well. David's percentage is suffering because of all these surges, but at least it prevents Jared from getting too unapproachably high. This brings him down to striking distance.

What a waste of votes it is to eliminate 10 of them at once. Since some of these frontman clearly have a dedicated following, they should just eliminate anyone that doesn't have a percentage past the fifty decimal points.

EDIT: Well that's over. Everybody mentioned above is gone, and David has seen small percentage boost (maybe 0.20). Next Monday they'll start eliminating frontmen daily.

David is #3, so we have Chester and Mike from LP to contend with. Shimon Moore from the Sick Puppies will be trying to take our place (he even surpassed Brent Smith who got an early lead).
