Is it just me, or can anyone else tell a HUGE difference in the vocals and effects.

They sound 10xs better than the original?

They brightened (increased) the sound of the effects. I couldn't hear them before.

I agree, even though I never had the original cd in my car, but I definitely hear a lot of little things I didn't pick up on the mp3s.

The drums sounded a lot more "tight" where as on the original they were more "airy", but I've noticed that through all the tracks. Overall it sounds like it was reproduced with the same quality as indestructible, and that's fine with me Rockout

Yeah, I liked A Welcome Burden and God of the Mind, they sound soooooo much better now that they're modern studio recordings instead of demos from back in the day.

Also the game is different i noticed the background music has changed in certain parts of the song and in want there is a change also stupify and a welcome burden sounds like they recorded it again.

I listened to the whole album last night and all the songs sound 10x better. I hear a lot of things that i didn't in the original.

Also noticed a tiny tiny change in Fear, right before the last pre-chorus there's a guitar oerdub holding out a chord while the main is playing, before it was just the main playing.

Down with the Sickness in the remaster is amazing. Everything is so clear. I can hear the drums so well. Love this album. Also, the re-tracking of vocals for some songs are just perfect.
