I had a talk with forumotion and basically they said fine its your forum do what you want so this double post rule is no more. And personally i am glad.

Well thats kewl..At least we dont have to worrie about getting in trouble for double posting..accident or otherwise..Hmm..Did my constent bickering about how stupid and pointless the rule was to begin with have anything to do with it being abolished??...NAH prolly not but just because its not being enforced dosent meen it shouldent be used as it can become annoying after some time..As Hoemmed said the edit function is still there on the 'bottum right hand corner' so please feel free to use it for often then not :) Because who knows, maybe the forumotion team might think there really IS spam on this site and tighten the belt even tighter then before.
