Are you familiar or do you have a decent knowledge of the original comic book Venom? cause i could see from an outside view how someone might think he was "badass". Because i could go all nerd crazy and list (with many colorful words and exclamation marks) all the reasons the movie venom was a bastardization of who and what Venom is.

i have to agree with monster 666 its god awful!! they did not use right at all. I mean he is a BADASS character in the comics i just hope the reboot of the new sipder-man down the road uses VENOM the right way.

I mean I know the movie fucked up the comic book portrayal of Venom, his creation and overall character, but I enjoyed the actor's cynical attitude and swag in the movie.

i guess from that perspective i can see what ur talking about, but that movie had so many mess ups. they should have cut out sand man and spent more time giving venom more scenes.
