Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe was reportedly arrested today (June 28) in the Czech Republic on apparent manslaughter charges that date back to a 2010 incident.
The Czech news website Novinky reports that Blythe engaged in a fight with a fan during the band’s show at the Prague club Abaton in May 2010, and that the fan later died of his injuries. Today, with Lamb of God back in the Czech Republic to perform a show that was scheduled for tonight, police brought the musician in for questioning upon his arrival in the city for the gig. As a result, tonight’s show has been canceled.
Loudwire spoke with Lamb of God’s representatives, and they told us that the singer has been wrongly accused. They added that lawyers are currently dealing with the situation and that they expect Blythe to be fully exonerated.
Lamb of God have been touring the world in support of their ‘Resolution’ album and have been filming a documentary capturing the sights and sounds of the trek.
Loudwire will continue to follow this story as more details emerge.

I saw this and was going to post it here to. at first i was scared as shit for Randy (obviously he would never purposefully kill anyone) but thankfully as far as I know it looks like it will be dismissed, and even if it does go to court he will be found utterly innocent.

also, I have Lamb of God tickets for a concert in Phili on September 1st, and i really really hope that my Lamb of God show isn't canceled or anything.

Since Dime's death, artists have been leery of people jumping up onstage. Security couldn't get to him and it was the third time the guy jumped up there. I don NOT blame Randy for what happened.

There's actually a douche on Twitter arguing the point with David. What an idiot. He thinks that Randy should just take his lumps if he's convicted.

This is much more a case of an unfortunate accident rather than manslaughter. I'll be seeing Lamb of God live in September as well, even though I'm mainly going for Gojira, but hopefully this doesn't get the tour canceled.

He'll be released on bond Monday; the equivalent of $200,000 US.

No, he won't by the looks of things, this country take it's Manslaughter charges very seroiusly wether it's a popular person or not, I really have a bad feeling about this and the future of Lamb Of God.
And since the fan died after their 2010 show, there could be more to this then what has been reported, just saying, Lamb Of God might have to look for a new singer now!

Anybody else seen this?

It was definitely the security guard providing most of them momentum.
