So now that festival season is winding down (besides Uproar), we can now thinking more about next Summer festival season.
The band entertained the idea of letting MAAW split off into it's own entity with a different head-liner, but they were all too busy finding projects to get start organization it (Monster Energy and the label shouldn't have to do all the work).
How would you feel if next year instead of Disturbed, MAAW VI was co-headlined by a rotating line-up of Device and Fight or Flight? Meanwhile The Adrenaline Mob could go up before the two of them. Maybe throw in Art of Dying or Trivium.
It would still be Disturbed's festival without Disturbed itself. But maybe to give the fans a taste of what's to come, they could have an All-Star Jam playing Down with the Sickness, like David was involved in during Gigantour when they played Cold Sweat by Thin Lizzy.
So you could have Mike or Will Hunt behind the kit depending on that night's headliner with Mike Portnoy helping out, John and Sean Corcoran on bass, Dan, Virus and Mike Orlando on guitar, and finally David, Russell Allen and Dan Chandler on vocals. Dan sings the clean parts, Russell does the chorus and David harmonizes both of them here and there.
That or they could end the night with a 5-minute medley of Disturbed classics.
