Great album by Disturbed the one that started it all.

if it weren't for the sickness alot bands wouldn't have existed or would be as great

I can't wait for the (inevitable, now) day when our boys make it to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. :D

I love all their albums, but this one makes me just wanna punch someone in the face! You know what I mean? You get that feeling inside like ya just wanna jump around or something :D

It is such a great album the one that started it all.

Disturbed's success with The Sickness has been the foundation for their success with all the work after. Each of their albums is unique - both compared to the other Disturbed albums, and compared to other bands. I think David Draiman is achieving what he hoped for.

A great breakout album, and is the favourite of a lot of Disturbed fans. The track "Down with the sickness" is what most people where im from think about when they think Disturbed. Not my favourite album, but without it, Disturbed would not be respected the way they are today.

Finally got my copy of this CD now! lol was only one copy on the shelf in the record store over here. Yay! got them all now! But yeah as far as this album, it's definitely awesome! Listening to it right now

The Sickness is one of those CD's that will never leave your collection. Just a masterpiece, David's vocals are amazing.
Favourites have to be The Game, Stupify and Conflict.

I don't really know what to say except that it's totally awesome.
I think it's the best one. Conflict, The Game, Voices, Down with the Sickness, Meaning of Life, Violence Fetish... Ugh, all of them are simply delightful to listen to!

I think what made this album what it is was david's aggression. he emerged from a life of rules and regulation on everything. i think all his aggression came out on these songs.

very true. david sings with alot of passion. i like every song on the album. something about disturbed is tht they dont seem to ever repeat rhythms or riffs. all of their songs are unique. uk that theyr disturbed its just nevr the same stuff

In my opinion they should have A Welcome Burden and God of The Mind of the cd instead of Want and Numb

There are a number of songs on it I used while I trained in kung fu. Still do in fact. It keeps me pumped to do some damage to those invisible bad guys. lol

Its the depute album of all depute albums no other band started out with a kick ass album like Disturbed did.
