Gabriel is a beautiful dog, though. The little dogs (or at least the one that's seen in the video) annoy the crap out of me.
I'm sorry if that offends some people. That's just what I think.
Personally, I find it sweet that he refers to his dogs as his "furry children". Yeah, even though he is a badass Metal singer, it's refreshing to see a guy like him having a cute nickname to identify his pets' places in the family. Sometimes animal lovers do that; I'm guilty of it on the rare occasion.
I think it may be because when you're all alone it's the pets that have been there for you since day one... since they came to you as puppies and having to raise them like your 'children', per se. Gabriel and Lisa were his babies, his children. So naturally it would make sense that he refers to them as his "furry children".
But you have your opinions and I respect them. I'm also stating what I think, since that's how I feel about my furry critters, but maybe it's different for David?
Although I must agree with you that those small dogs are somewhat irritating, but I've never been a fan of those "yappy dogs" (sorry for the stereotype). I like smaller in size like Shelties and Kai Kens, but those Yorkies, Chihuahuas and the toy breeds... they seem to be just... you're right, "annoying".
