If Disturbed decided to work with another artist, should it be a guest appearance on their next record, a Disturbed member on someone else's record or a two-band collaboration?

Personally, I'd love to see Vinnie Paul show up on a Disturbed album or David in an Apocalyptica song. Or maybe Slipknot could make a new album with tons of guest bassist, with John being one of them. It would also be interesting to hear Dan work with Adam Dutkiewicz or Mark Tremonti.

very good idea with apocalyptica...since they got corey, they could easily get David and it would sound AMAZING

I think John Bush from Armored Saint (and ex-Anthrax) would be interesting

And I like Sandra Nasic, I think she could totally hold her own, vocally, next to David.

Lzzy Hale...that would be interesting
And I think I'd die of laughter if David joined Tenacious D on a song...for fun, of course, but still lol!

All those suggestions are great! I wouldn't mind seeing any of those scenarios...

I would love to see David do something with his brother, Ben. I think that would be incredible!

I like the John Bush and Ben Draiman ideas. I have a friend who's a big fan of Evanescence and she said she could really hear Amy Lee and David's voices together. If David did a duet with a female, I think she'd be excellent (Lzzy Hale wouldn't be bad though).

The other thing I would absolutely die for would be if David could sing a guest spot on Slash's next album. The first one had Matt Shadows, Miles Kennedy and Andrew Stockdale, so Slash albums aren't only about old rockers.

Goddamn... David said on Twitter that the Apocalyptica guys approached him and he turned them down over conflicting schedules. That would've been great...

I was so excited when I read that. I think David met Slash at that performance with Camp Freddy (the one that had Chester Bennington and Corey Taylor) but I'm not sure.

I thin David should work with Slash and/or Santana, Metallica, Godsmack, A7x, Lacuna Coil or One-Eyed Doll (since OED is also from Texas), but I wanna see him work with Tenacious D xDD

David just said Tarja Turunen, formerly of Nightwish, asked him if they could sing a duet at some point

"SHE ASKED IF ID BE INTERESTED IN SINGING TOGETHER, I SAID I WOULD"

I'm really excited about this idea. Who wouldn't love this prospect? Her voice would meld perfectly with David's.

He also mentioned working with Slipknot

"ID BE HONORED TO"

If there is another Slipknot record, I'd love to hear David's voice at that level of heaviness.

David has also said that he'd love to do duets with Lzzy Hale or Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil. Either one of those ladies would be awesome!

The thought of David and Tarja singing together makes me a very happy girl. I love Tarja's voice. She simply has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. Her soaring operatic soprano coupled with the the uniqueness of David's voice- not just the harsher vocals, but the smoother tones as well- would be a HUGE hit!

If he does work with Tarja, I'd like to hear David explore that dramatic tenor side of himself that he uses in The Night, and combine it with the melismatic belting he places at the end of Asylum (in other words, take out the growl and leave only the melody). The harsher stuff can wait for his collab with Lzzy.

Maybe they could have a harmony duel to see who can hold a note for the longest.

That would be interesting to hear. I don't even want to speculate who would win that one- David or Tarja. One thing is certain- that would be epic either way.

This morning, Dan Spitz, former guitarist of Anthrax offered David the prospect of a future collaboration.

@danspitz: Blessed with talent of legendary proportion. Let me know if you need help with the new stuff brother. Spitz from Anthrax & RL
@DAVIDMDRAIMAN: THANKS BRO, I'LL KEEP YOU IN MIND

I for one am extremely excited about this idea. Among the Living and Spreading the Disease are two of my favorite albums of all time. Throwing Scott Ian into the mix would make this an absolute dream team.

P.S: Spitz's Twitter may not have a blue check mark, but he's being followed by the official Anthrax twitter page so I'm convinced it's really him.

Never been a big fan of Anthrax, but there is an immense amount of talent in that crew. If he were to work with David, the metal world would explode. I'm excited.

David with Tarja would be awesome!! Their voices would go together perfectly, plus the face that I love Nightwish (when Tarja was with them) and also her solo career. I also hope he gets to work with Apocalyptica, that would be fantastic! Still looking forward to hearing his solo project, and most of all Disturbed banging out a new album!!

25Who should Disturbed collaborate with? Empty I don't know Tue 24 Apr 2012, 17:07

I dont know those people because I'm relatively new to metal and personally I think it would be interesting if like the lead singer in five finger death punch do something with disturbed you know add some screaming in there but not to much and I think the lead singer of bulett for my valentine would be interesting to. And sorry if those people u mentioned aren't metal other than slipknot I know the're metal.
