A truly historic event for metal - The big four of Thrash, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax, after many rumours will finally play a show together in Warsaw, Poland.

The group did once perform together, minus Metallica during the Clash of the Titans tour in the early 90's with Suicidal Tendencies and Alice in Chains opening. 'Tallica and MD once played a single show in 1993 as well.

That's not a bad idea Bowers. The thing that pisses me off is that Slayer is a member of the big four, arguably their by far the weakest band out of them all, i've always said that Testament should of been labeled in that group, i don't listen to much thrash metal anymore but Testament by far is the best band in the genre, they can do it all.

i also prefer Testament to slayer as i really hate slayer but anthrax are the weakest out of the 4 and havnt really been thrash metal for a while

I like anthrax as while they're not the most musically talented group out of the 4, the way they go about their music is very unique and different to the others. Alot of the thrash metal bands are ego based, Metallica has and Ego, Megadeth sure as hell has an ego...slayer...yeah we won't go there but Anthrax has the you paid to see us perform so we're going to perform attitude which in thrash metal i think is pretty honorable.

yh i think anthrax are the most down to earth but it would be hard for anyone who has had metallica's level of success to remain down to earth and not develop some level of an ego

I think ego wise it's mainly Lars Ulrich that has the ego. James Hetfield deserves respect, he's the mastermind behind the band and one of the best singers and guitar players of all time, Kirks a nice guy, i don't like his playing but still he's a down to earth respectable type of guy, Rob Trujillo is an absolute beast on the bass and he's probably the most friendly person in the band i think. So yeah i think it's really only Lars that has the ego.

Probably, it wouldn't surprise me. The funny part is though he's the least talented member of the band and considered one of the worst drummers in metal period and yet he's the most arrogant person in the band :p
