Disturbed was gone for 5 years. Now that they are back, they certainly have a renewed passion & fire for writing and touring.
David has said that the band had become too cyclical & predictable in 10 years. The shows were no longer events at that point, they were expected. So thats one reason they decided to go on hiatus. It gave themselves and the fans a renewed appreciation for the Disturbed experience.
After Disturbed wraps the 2016 Immortalized album tour cycle, what will we see? Will Disturbed dive right back into writing a 7th studio album? Or will they think that is too predictable and announce another break to keep the fans on their toes? Or will we see a covers album rather than a new music album? Do the band members go back to playing with their respected side projects? Lets talk about this.
