Im quiet enjoying this album, so many different elements to each song.

Open Your Eyes has that smack in your face riff n beat, You're Mine was a completely different style then what I was thinkin.

The Light at the start kinda reminds me of FFDPs cover House of the Rising Sun but becomes a great melody song.

Bit disappointing that Who is the only one with this signature growls but every song is just great, cant pick a bad/worst song one the album

This is my favorite album through and through. Fire it up was probably the only bad song in my opinion, but I cant wait to hear the 3 bonus tracks. 10/10. Disturbed is back baby!

Are You're Mine and Who the same song? Or are there differences I'm not hearing right off the bat? The whole album is awesome!! Why isn't it next week yet?!

I have the same problem. You're Mine and Who are the same song.

Listening now. So far I think I expected more from the Eye Of The Storm instrumental. A haunting sounding instrumental but has nothing on Asylum's instrumental. Open Your Eyes is fucking sick, I love it. The Light was... weird. When it kicked off I literally said "wtf". Although its unique in its own right & I can dig that. Youre Mine sounds like it belongs on a Device album. Just like The Light its certainly unique & you can hear that Disturbed is pushing the envelope for the genre. Who is another sick track. Its so obvious the hiatus did David's voice some serious favors. It has the best breakdown since "criminal". Who has small growls but If youre expecting an opening growl like DWTS, The Animal, Asylum, etc... dont get your hopes up. I absolutley abhore songs with dial tones in them but Save Our Last Goodbye does it fucking right. Easily the darkest song on the album. Its like Asylum meets Parasite. My favorite on Immortalized by a long shot. I can see why David wrote Fire It Up because Save Our Last Goodbye is so goddamned heartbreaking. The Sound Of Silence honestly isnt out of left field as the band suggested. If youve heard the original, the cover is as expected. Never Wrong is the song off The Sickness that Disturbed fans have been yearning for for 14 years. Nu-Metal all the way. Who Taught You How To Hate is another rocking Disturbed track. Nothing too special about it but it is killer.

Does anyone else hear John singing backup on The Light? Some of those lines don't sound at all like David.

Finished listening the album and I'm blown away. It's the 2nd Disturbed album that I had to wait for cause when i started listening to the band, 4 albums were already released. So comparing it to Asylum, I have to say Immortalized is in another league.
I can't say there's a poor song on the album. Maybe Never Wrong but it still has its awesome parts.
Someone here mentioned that the album isn't heavy enough, well imo is at heavy as it gets while still exploring new ground.
Some of the highlights I should mention are:
Open your eyes and Fire it Up - keep the Disturbed style but it's definitely something new, a new take.
The Light - one of the "wow" turns on the album, they really went somewhere they didn't go before.
The Sound of Silence - Just awesome, clearly better than the original, really impressive.
Save our last goodbye and You're Mine - the perfect mix between romance and heavy, fierce mayhem.
Well, Disturbed's back and each day has a different vibe from now on.
So here comes that sweet dillema: which song should i start devouring first?

Songs are amazing, some a little different than  am use to. Maybe more energy and more in your face songs. The biggest let down, was the absence of guitar solo work. There should have been more, if not longer ones. They were good, some great, but nothing like the work I know Danny can create, IMO he is the best there is, the riff work is AMAZING as always, The Brave and the Bold was amazing solo wise. Fire it Up was good, I mean they are all great, but when I listen to Indestructible, that album had it all and didn't lack ANYTHING! And really the only thing lacking here is the long guitar solo's. To be honest, and this is just my opinion, I think Kevin messed them up. Still love it and they will always be the greatest and ever, I just hope this isn't their last album. I want them to be 90, still  making music.

Edit: You know....I listened to it a second time, and I love it more and more, I just wish there were more guitar solo's! Haha next time Danny! Is it softer in some aspects then others albums, yes, but goddamnit if it still doesn't kick more ass than anything out there!

I hope in the future Disturbed does some more high energy covers. Maybe some Metallica or Dio.

I already have the album, including bonus tracks, on my Android. Shortly after the live streaming, it was available through this music player app I have. Have the album pre-ordered though, so yeah. ]]

Anyway, the album is great. Really impressed, especially with The Sound of Silence.

I am blow away by Immortalized. The album's sound is fantastic, probably the best sounding so far, in terms of production. This is Disturbed's strongest album that they ever made, in my opinion.
There isn't really a bad song on the album. I'll even admit that I like "Fire It Up" more than I did before. However I think its still the weakest track on the album.

The band's performance is good as usual. However, I must say that this is most likely David Draiman's best vocal performance ever.
I think getting a new producer was a really good idea as well.
"The Sound of Silence" and "Save Our Last Goodbye" actually made me teary eyed, which is something that barely EVER happens when I hear music. Like ever. So in that regard, this album even has emotional moments to go along with badass and heavy moments. So in all, The Sickness is still my personal favorite album, but this one is quite possibly their best.

i think it's mike singing some backup you can see him singing in the making of immortalized in part 5
I'm pretty sure it's dan in the vocal both on  part 6 also.
