He also said on his twitter account that it was "DARK, HEAVY, AND KICK ASS". As far as the cantorial style vocals- I think they're so ingrained in who David is as a person and an artist that he can't get away from them and stay true to himself.

Wow, this is interesting. Now I really want to know who these other musicians are. I'm hoping for something different than Disturbed. What's the point of doing a side-project if it sounds exactly like the regular project :P

I agree. I was hoping this project wouldn't be metal at all but some completely different genre. Just from Stupify, Forsaken and the Midlife Crisis cover I really like him as an alternative/goth singer.

Since he started in punk, I wouldn't mind hearing him explore that side of himself either.

i hope something dark, with acoustic guitars and orchestra. and david singing in all forms and trying everything his voice can give...

To those that are excited about this project-

I only have a few words for you. We are the pinnacle of what true fans are in my opinion. We are excited for them all and can't wait to see what it's going to be. I've heard bits and pieces of OMERTA and it sounds wicked. I'm sure that having John in Adrenaline Mob will be an assent to them and us as fans. I'm sure that anything that David comes out with will be amazing because, let's face it- David is a musical genius. I thank and applaud you all for being open-minded.

You know, now that I think about it, even though David put together every vocal melody himself, those melodies were always completely influenced by Dan or Mike. I have to wonder what he'll sound like when he writes the entire foundation of the song himself.

When I wondered about him doing Jewish Cantorial singing, I meant more like the classical style, like this.

I don't see that classical kind of singing from David. I'm sure that he can do it, but it just doesn't seem like something that he would do. And I'm sure that he'll sound just fine though he's writing it on his own. It's David.

it sounds like a group album with different artists on the album bit like a compilation

I asked David if he was planning on coming to the UK to do a book signing tour, and he said he hopes to, which has really gotten me even more excited, I've been wanting to meet David for so many years and never had the chance, so if this happens, I will be ecstatic. I look forward to whatever he has in store for us. I am very much looking forward to his autobiography, even though I think I know almost all is possible to know about him by now xD

The whole thing about orchestral elements is a really good idea in my opinion, even though he said he doubts it, the thought of it is amazing. I've always liked the bridge section in "I'm Alive" when there sound as if string instruments are playing, I'd love to hear something like that. I wonder what an "S&M" style album from Disturbed would sound like, like when Metallica did it.

This new project will certainly be interesting to find out. I can't wait!
