Disturbed is put on hold and the band members seem to have projects of their own going on as we all know.

My question to you is how strong of a Disturbed fan are you and will you continue to follow each member
and observe (from a far) and attend concerts? So let's say "Davids New Band" will be creating new material with a slightly
new sound (nowhere near Disturbeds style) and then David will tour...would you go? What about the new Album will you grab one once it's released?

Will this transision seem odd to you Disturbed fans?

Also when Steven "Fuzz" Kmak left the group...did anyone of you continue to follow him at all?
Your opinion please...

I'm definitely going to be grabbing a copy of David's new work and maybe attend a concert if the money is there.
About Steve, I tried to follow him but all I know is he played in a Disturbed tribute band for a while and fell out of the limelight.

I love Disturbed much like everyone on this forum. I love the magic they make together. That being said, I'm highly anticipating David's new project. I can't wait to hear it. If I have the money and there's a show near by where I'm at I'm going. No questions asked. I feel the same about Adrenaline Mob. With John on bass, I'm going if I can afford it and they're in my area, although Mike Portnoy's teal blue beard is a little off putting. Scratch that- it's a LOT off putting. But that's just me.

I wasn't really into the band during the "Fuzz" era. They were more my brother's thing. When he told me that John Moyer had replaced Steve I asked him how he felt and he told me "Good riddance." Personally, I feel that John is a MUCH better musician.

Lets all face it. David Draiman is Disturbed, he's the reason they are who they are, he's the driving force in the band. I'm going to closely follow everything he does, and probably buy it/attend it, and I'll keep an eye on the others and what they do as well.

As for Fuzz, he was out of the band long before I really got into them, so although I do like his style for bass in the old sickness songs, I don't feel any need to follow him, unless he was in something good. But from what I hear, he's dropped off the grid.

Take a look at John Moyer, he's in that Adrenaline Mob band now right? they are pretty good. I bought their album Òmerta.

I obviously will listen to davids new proyect, but, if i dont like it i will be disapointed and just wait for a Disturbed reunion.
all the music in Disturbed is created by Dan and then the others, so i dont know how david will managed the music composition.
I hope dan put a new band together and release some material too. but the main thing is wait to Disturbed to come back.

No matter what, I'll be following the members of Disturbed during their hiatus, however long it lasts.

I'll go to any shows that come near me (no more travelling for a while unless it's really special...like Ben comes back to the States to do a show), and will definitely buy David's project's album when it's released. And I, too, have bought Adrenaline Mob's "Omerta" and it's a damn good album. And Vikki, Mike Portnoy's beard doesn't bother me...so it's teal. LOL We've all seen musicians do much worse to their bodies/hair/image, right?

I wish the guys much success in their individual endevors, and I'll still be here when Disturbed decides the time is right to end the hiatus.

Lol... Stef, did you have to call me out? Lmao. Portnoy's beard just bothered me for some reason. It just struck my eyes wrong and annoyed me. Maybe I'm too picky about some things but that just looked wrong. Granted, I've seen some strange body modifications and they have struck me as such. I don't deny that the human propensity for strange and extreme hasn't given me shivers on several occasions, but as tame as Mike Portnoy having a teal beard is, it messed with my head. Just sayin.

but really, it doesn't matter, does it?

It's just that our boy Johnny is in that band, and we should support him. Agreed, Disturbed Ones?

John is the only reason I gave them a shot. You're right, it doesn't matter that the facial hair gave me the willies. It didn't mess me up so much that I wouldn't watch the video again. The little I saw of John he looked like he was having fun, and as long as he's having fun making the music, I'll listen because no matter what, I'm a Disturbed One, and I support them all as individuals and as a band.

AMOB kicks ass. Portnoy is a legend. Honestly John came onto the band for the touring cycle. He didn't write or lay down any of the bass tracks for the Omertà album. So with or without Moyer AMOB is great. If John stays around for their next possible album I'll be more excited for them. I'm anticipating a lot of critisicm for David's industrial project. I like some of NIN and I don't listen to any Ministry. I like Tool and A Perfect Circle. I'm curious to see how it works out for him.

I'll be following them every step of the way. Disturbed kind of feel like more of a band, you sort of feel like you know them, especially when you've had interation with them on Twitter and stuff and know so much about them. David's voice is what makes Disturbed for me though so I'm most looking forward to his project.

I will probably be leaving the band until they come back. I will give Device's single a listen and if it impresses me, I will look for more. But as it is, I'm not even slightly anticipating that release, to be honest. I wouldn't be interested in any band solely to support John Moyer, so I won't be following whoever he's touring with. The only band members I feel obligated to and - to be honest - infatuated with here are Dan and Mike. To me, those two are the core of Disturbed. If they announce any projects, I will probably be looking out for them.

Ever since Asylum's release, I've been telling my friends that Dan and Mike should make their own instrumental album. To me, those two make Disturbed - Draiman is just extra noise on top of the essence of the sound. To hear an album where Dan and Mike are just jamming, maybe with some extra experimentation, and without the need to make room for a vocal line, would be fascinating. Can you imagine how different that album would be? And yet, you know Dan and Mike would pull it off in spades.

But other than that, I won't be following too closely. My interest in Disturbed has started to wane slightly since the release of Asylum, and while I will still be interested should they decide to return, I will not be following the projects of my least favorite members all that closely. Not unless these projects warrant themselves as individually great. We'll see.

That is something I would want to hear too. Dan and Mike definitely do give Disturbed much of its style. I feel they experimented a little bit more during the first few albums and I really liked Loading the Weapon, so an instrumental album by them should be interesting.

As much as I agree with the fact that Disturbed would lose the sound without Dan and Mike, you are out of your mind to say David is just "extra noise". David IS Disturbed, he is definitely more of an integral cog than Mike at least.

Hey Goddesses & Warriors! Checkin out your interest in Disturbed's hiatus above in all your posts. Some of u may remember who I am- it's been awhile since logging on here. I agree most with @Disturbed Sikkness cuz Mike and Dan are the core of the band! David is the face with the voice! and he's the icing on the cake. A band is really nothing without a great composer and songwriter. It's a collective effort and chemistry that gives it life.

Also, just wanted to set the record straight here on another subject for a few u folks- Fuzz played one show with us- "Indestructible" The One and Only Disturbed Tribute Band- when we needed some help. He never joined the band. At lengthy discussion with him, he will retire from music until he can again find something with the magic that he had when the original "4" created something fresh and new.

So, for now Disturbed is on a hiatus- And I'll be there for them when they return! Of course anything and everything by their solo projects would be entertaining. But us (after 5 years and 7 bassists ) are still going strong. If u haven't already heard, there is a huge show coming up in Chicago called Tribute to Mayhem- with SIC Chicago's Slipknot tribute, Damaged Justice (Metallica), Iron Horse (Motorhead)& Born of the Wicked (Iced Earth). AUGUST 26th. The coolest part about it all is that it's @ the House of Blues Chicago for $10!

So for u local Disturbed fans that still believe, there is Mayhem Part 2 in Chicago only. Check out our event page here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I'm speaking from my own perspective and opinion. To me, Draiman is NOT what makes Disturbed. In my honest opinion (not trying to talk shit, to be clear), he ranges from being mediocre most of the time to being truly great for some songs. That said, I have yet to hear Mike or Danny put something into a Disturbed track that I haven't liked. In fact, there are a few Disturbed tracks that I wish were just instrumental, to be honest. It's nothing personal against Draiman, I just find him mostly unremarkable. It's opinion. I acknowledge that, popularly, David is definitely the face of the band or whatever.... But Dan and Mike are the meat. Just my opinion. But I could have a Disturbed without David and be satisfied with it. Again, not trying to offend anybody.
