Already they are 15 years of path the ones that accumulates this band that, without doubt, never passes unnoticed. The private sound of their riffs, added to a crude oil and melodic voice, they do of Disturbed a fundamental band in the list of any person that likes of the Metal.

The announcement of a recess, on the part of the singer and leader of the band David Draiman, was not indifferent for the press and neither, for none of its Fans. "Do not we know that we are doing still", affirmed, and then added coolly: "Everything that I can say is that we will be, surely, was by a long time. ..Ustedes they will not see Disturbed in a Tour by a time".

All that was carried out after the announced of a Tour Latin-American. A tour that will bring them for first and, perhaps, last time, such as us confirmed John Moyer, in exclusive for Musical Agenda, affirming that "Our shows in Latin America will be the last... at least in a time".

John Moyer, bassist of Disturbed, was the last one of the members in being united. It has been present in 3 of the 5 disks of the band. Despite it, Moyer has the things as clear as any another member, and never doubted to the moment to respond our questions, despite the little time that we had to converse with him. In a díficil interview, marked by the telephone interferences and lags, himself sinceró with us, speaking a little about his life in the band, and his visit to Chile... You want to know more?, thus was like responded to our questions:

To.M: John, to the point... You believe that is going to be for always the recess, or probably only a time?

J. M: we really do not know how long will be the recess..

To.M: How do you feel with that?

J M: We always work together, and this will be the first time that stop, at least for a while.. honestly, I do not have that idea that am going to do or that is going to pass with me! (Jajaja), I will miss them a lot, but to the same one I am seeking to pass more time with my family.

To.M: How do you feel that has been the evolution of your work inside the band, being already 3 albums next to them?

J M: I was familiarized already with the music, but did not intend to come and to change the way in which they worked. Nevertheless, at the same time, I am a different musician to the previous one, for which would be able to help doing, perhaps, upside down the things of when he went. In fact, I them habia mentioned that my intentions for the band were of a more rhythmic form, because that is my style... then I think that, most of all my, influence is the rhythmic thing; perhaps with an intention to be a band more heavy than was when began... An influence more "metal" in the sense of "heavier"... And I believe that was thus, not only with my influence, but also with the passage of time, in the day by day. I do not think that have been greater the change for the group.

To.M: You entered the boom of Disturbed, specifically in the album Have Thousand Fists.. Perhaps it did not you know, but here in Chile quite famous the single was done Stricken thanks to the WWF… As feel the experience to be a protagonist of this road to the "glory?

J M: Oh, in reality did not know that Stricken was a so known theme there.. That is very good to know it, in fact, now that you tell I will do it me the possible thing by putting it in the Setlist.. I will cause I will know the boys what you they have just said me…

To.M: This it will be the first one and only show that you will give in Chile, before the recess…Have some idea of as is the public here in Chile?

J M: We think that our fans in Chile they will be so "metal" as we know them.. We know "metal" everywhere, of all parts of the world, and they are very intense… they Live with a lot of intensity the shows.. We expect that in Chile that be a lot greater, above all a place to which never we have gone. As I have said you, we are very touched by end to go there… for which I have understood, the entrances are being exhausted, then therefore we expect a great tour, and above all, a quite incredible show of metal in Chile...

And finally, the respective greetings of John Moyer, for all who they visit us!

I gotta ask though: Who on Earth translated this? Either somebody's Latin American is off or their translation software didn't do a good job, because some of the words don't flow, some were mistranslated, and some weren't even translated at all (lol). I was having some slight difficulty following, but I was still able to get the concepts of the questions & answers.

I like John's answers. David seems to be a tad pessimistic about the hiatus though. he tweets "THE FINAL SHOW?" and "THE LAST SET?".

I have a gut feeling There will be a Solo Album in the works during this"recess"...although some of you might disagree..but I know many artists experiment with their own ideas and creativity and come up with incredible music. You see...as time goes by bands may get into a "burn out phase" and yeah I guess change is good...for awhile.
I been talking to different bands...some have been together as long as 20 years..they tell me they have had some good times but they get in a rut and want new things to happen in their lives instead of the same old "crap" and yeah they mature and think differently too.
Anyway I'm starting to understand what it's like being in a Band...interesting.
