i cringed when he said that entire part because them fighting is like my worst nightmare coming true
i really hope that's not it, because heartbroken wouldn't even cover how i'm feeling right now

i know we're supposed to be positive and everything, but when he says that + "long, long period of time" + "we'll see..." + "going out with a bang" ....am i seriously the only one here with a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach?

i've been so sad because of this lately...i don't know what to do or say anymore :(

we all say things when we are fed up some times we just wanna quit because of it but then we take a rest we rethink things and see whats really in front of us fact is disturbed is one of the most popular bands in the world and they worked hard to achieve that it would be wrong for them to throw that away now i don't think they will they just need to rest enjoy life on their own for awhile and then they will return indestructible forever just be patient guys

I still think that everyone is reading WAY too much into David's words. They're taking an indefinite break. There is a lot for them to consider and by reading things that aren't there into what's being said just causes panic.

Take what he said at face value, folks. They'll be back eventually and better than ever~!

and you gotta remember, David is a liberal, no offense to anyone. So he could be a tad pesimistic about things and overexaggerate without meaning to. The only thing I can compare it to is when you dont have plans in the summer, you just make the plans up as you go. The band is almost on summer vacation, and they arent making any plans. they have been making plans for the past 15 years.
