But from a fan's perspective (and we ARE fans, right?), David's bank account doesn't matter. Besides, how many times has he encouraged people to steal his music just so they can hear it? I've even seen him do it on Twitter when people have said they can't afford something. Bank account is not a reason for him to be technical, evidently. Just IMO.

I know what you're saying, and I've seen him do it too. I'm just saying that he has to think about that every now and then.

Unfortunately, this conversation has gotten off topic. The bottom line is that they don't have the money to reshoot Warrior. They're as upset as we are because they don't want to give us a product that they're unhappy with. It sucks that Warrior isn't going to be released as a video, but there's nothing they can do about it and neither can we.

they should un-officially release it to us so we can still see it, then maybe do a fan vote on it to see if they should release it as an official video. If not, just bonus content for us then.

That's something you can run past David on Twitter. I'm sure the guys are always open to suggestions.

The issue with that suggestion is that there is no way to un-officially release it. Once it gets posted somewhere or shown to someone, facebooked, emailed, anything... it will get leaked. If they wanna release they would have made the decision too.I doubt they will throw all their work in the trash but i highly doubt we will see this video for years.

Unofficial is relative. It ties back into the discussion about Asylum above. See, Asylum was released unofficially as a single. And the music video was released unofficially just for promotion. To release it officially would be to ... Well, I'm not sure nowadays, as what channel plays music videos anymore? But back in the day, releasing it to channels would've probably been considered official.

However, simply releasing it online and not selling it would be an unofficial release. And really, when they have videos like Down With the Sickness out and still own up to them, I don't see why that would be much of an issue here.

David said on twitter that they aren't happy with the finished product, so, either way we won't be seeing a video for Warrior.

The only part that kinda worries me is the "no money" part.

I agree there, but they do have a pretty big production for MAAW 5 and stuff like that is expensive. I'm sure that he means that it's just not in the budget right now.

Yes, he does. Trust me. My favorite band, Korn, released their newest album about a month before Asylum, and it got stuck at about 180,000 copies, is not moving many more, and they're doing fine (granted Music As a Weapon V has honestly probably done a shit ton to enhance their funds). Disturbed is much more relevant and, dare I say, wealthy. Don't worry about David saying there's no money for it. He just means the label won't fund a re-shoot.

I was pretty sure that's what he meant. I love Korn as well. Don't have the newest record because I really haven't listened to too much of them since 'Freak on a Leash' (growing up Mormon w/ an overbearing mother will do that to you, you know what I mean?). And, you're right, Disturbed is much more relevant. I think that people can relate to David a little more than they can Jonathan; so in essence, you're more than likely right. I'm almost willing to put money on it. Warner Bros. just won't put up the money for a reshoot for 'Warrior'.

daaaaaammmmmnnn i LOVE the song and was excited as fuck when i read that a video was being filmed.... and now this.... oh well if it wasnt good in their eyes then i respect that.... i personally thought that AWTD's video was kinda not so good... they could have done so much more with it... Asylum was a pretty damn good music video though and The Animal music video wasnt too bad... but oh well..... maybe one of us should make our own video to it... maybe with a cartoon samuri.... *input jeapordy theme music*

i have to agree with you asylum is a single more so then perfect insanity and guarded it did have a video which was better then awtd i think it counts

I was looking forward to a music video for this. But oh well if they canceled it then they had good reason to.

As mentioned in previous posts- David said that the video wasn't up to par and they weren't going to put out shit a shitty video.

David also mentioned that they were pushed in the direction that the video took and that it wasn't totally their idea.
