Seriously this is what Metallica would have sounded like if they had kept their old thrash style of kill em all, lightning, puppets and justice.


Am I Blood, formerly named St. Mucus, is a heavy/thrash metal band from Kerava, Finland. The band was formed in 1992 with later to be Amorphis front-man Pasi Koskinen, who was originally the singer of the band. They parted ways with Koskinen in 1995, just one month before the recording of debut album "Natural Mutation" under the name St.Mucus. The band are well-known (particularly on the internet) for being mistaken for the popular heavy metal band Metallica; which are arguably a strong influence on the band's music.
The band began recording their fifth album "Existence of Trauma", with a new guitarist and drummer, in mid 2008. It was revealed on the bands official MySpace blog that lead songwriter and vocalist Janne Jerminen began writing material for the album in early 2007. On November 25, 2008, the band has released an unmastered rough mix of the song "The Dawn Became Their Pride" from the upcoming album.
"The Truth Inside The Dying Sun", the band's fourth album, was made available to download freely at ReverbNation in anticipation of the new album's release.

they got awesome sound, but it just sounds like they are trying to be Metallica too much.

dawn i don't think what their doing with their music is a bad thing though even if they are going for a strong Metallica sound. if they do a good job with it then i got no problem. i just think it sounds fuckin awesome.

I'm glad you like their sound honey and anyone else that does as well. I just commented my opinion that's all I throw no negative feedback against you darlin.

i know u don't mean nothing by it. sorry if i came off as a little argumentative or something. and i totally get what u said as far as them pretty much copying off of Metallica's sound (although they do a damn good job of it lol in my opinion)
