Now certainly politicians have been known to do some tasteless and inappropriate things, but pulling something inane like that would probably hurt his image worse than it would help (or at the very least get him laughed at by his peers). He probably wont bring it up. I hope David stays out of it too; getting even slightly involved in anything political could badly hurt album/ticket sales.
