TV Tropes is a site I regularly frequent. It's basically a wiki that catalogs tropes, idioms, devices, story-form and writing conventions used in television, film, video games, literature and of course music. Basically things like the The Big No, Mary Sue and The Damsel In Distress (or anything else you've seen multiple times in media from character types to camera angles). Our main trope index should explain the rest.

I've written Disturbed's article and spend most of my time taking care of it. It's actually become the best-kept and most organized Musicians article; it's brought roughly 100 people to the site and appears in over 225 articles, an impressive number for a band of their age and fame. If you want to try troping, it should be a good place to start. If editing isn't for you, simply reading can be interesting; we encourage wittiness and clever form over the dry, logical style of Wikipedia.

Good article and I'll go back and check out the rest of the site.

Just making it known that I've improved the article yet again; I moved all the band member specific trope to a new Character Sheet (we use these pages for character specific tropes since they often are the source of the most tropes).

Yes, character sheets are allowed to be used for bands. Iron Maiden and Rammstein already have one.

If you'll notice, David seems to be the source of the most tropes of all the band members. Dancing David

Another interesting accomplishment: if you type "TV Tropes Dis" into Google then the article is revealed as one of the most searched-for terms on the entire website. Keep in mind that we're competing with Disgaea, Discworld and Disney.
