Why does David always cross his arms in interviews? I've noticed that in several videos over the years.

Maybe it's a deliberate thing, body language wise. But you notice that John is "wide open" with his hands resting on the railing behind and to the side of him.

Any thoughts? I have a few ideas, but I wondered if you've noticed the same thing.

People with crossed arms are closing themselves to social influence. Though some people just cross their arms as a habit, it may indicate that the person is (slightly) reserved, uncomfortable with their weight (therefore trying to hide it), or just trying to hide something on their shirt. If their arms are crossed while their feet are shoulder width or wider apart, this is a position of toughness or authority.

Sometimes it may be that person is feeling vulnerable or insecure. The crossing of arms may then be interpreted as a sort of "self-hug", to comfort yourself.
I do it alot myself Stef.
