Forgive me if I don't do too good with this, I am kind of new to this kind of thing.
Hey everyone. My name is Greg and I am 22 years old. I currently live in my hometown of Toppenish, WA, but my fiancee and I hope to move maybe when the spring comes next year. I am 6 foot 2, and 280 pounds. I have long hair that I am very proud of; I have been growing it for 6 years. I have a heart palpitation that I am hoping to fix some day soon. I help take care of my great grandmother since my great Grandfather passed away in February. They raised me when I was young so it is the least that I can do for her. I have done an assortment of jobs, but since I was laid off as a truck driver due to the economy I have been fixing lawn equipment to make ends meet until I can find something more permanent. I am a huge car fanatic, I love working on anything with an engine and I hope to someday have a few old cars and trucks for myself. My fiancee Shawn is from Augsberg, Germany and we are very happy together. I have led a very rough life and been in and out of jail most of my teen years after my mother signed me over to the state of Washington. I was abused most of my younger life as well, and it has left lasting effects on me in many ways, but it has also made me stronger. Due to my juvenile record I have a hard time with day to day living. I am not going to preach about how I didn't do this and that and how I was unfairly convicted because I can't change anyone's mind, a person will believe what they want. So that is me, now for my bit on the greatest band to ever walk the face of this earth. ^_^.....
I have been a fan since around 2000. I had heard a lot about this band that was really ripping it up back East, and since I have always been interested in unsigned bands, I did my research. Not long afterwards "The Sickness" came tearing through like an atom bomb and I was TOTALLY hooked. I did everything that I could to find out as much as I could about the band, and I still try my hardest to keep up with everything. Through my high school years their music helped me immensely, and they help me through each day of my life. I do not go a single day without listening to their music; it is the soundtrack to my life...
I know that many people say that they will be a fan for life but I really mean it. I have to have my fix! LOL! The guys of Disturbed seem like they are really great guys and they do so much for humanity as a whole...I wish that I could sit down and tell them about the effect their music has had in my life, but I will not entertain visions of grandeur' I know it won't happen. But nevertheless I AM life long fan and I hope to pass this music on to my kids, and their kids as well if possible. LOL, I am planning on getting "The Guy" tattooed in the next few months if that shows my dedication to the band and what they do. Anyways, I seem to be rambling somewhat, but here you guys go: my introduction. I hope I did okay with it. Dave, Dan, John and Mike: Thank you guys SO much. Maybe some day I will get to shake your guys' hands and tell you in person. You have opened my eyes and given me strength so many times, and you continue to do so. We are all DISTURBED! DISTURBED NATION RISE UP!!!
