The lineup of DISTURBED's fifth "Music As A Weapon" tour will reportedly be announced next week, possibly as soon as Monday (November 15). Frontman David Draiman hinted in a recent interview that the trek's co-headliner will be "massive," with KORN strongly rumored for that slot. "It's going to be appearing in a union that I think hard rock and heavy metal fans have been wanting to happen for awhile," Draiman said. "It has happened before, but only in brief stints. Now it's gonna happen for the duration of a two-leg-long tour. And we're gonna join forces with a leviathan. And we're really looking forward to it."

Previous Music As A Weapon lineups have included CHEVELLE, STONE SOUR, DROWNING POOL, ALTER BRIDGE and others.

DISTURBED's U.S. tour was recently canceled because Draiman was diagnosed with a serious throat condition.

According to tour promoter Live Nation, the unspecified "condition" is not permanent, but Draiman was advised to stop performing for at least four weeks in order for it to heal.

God, I hope it's not Korn... anybody else but them!

I mean, I'll still go...but, personally I'd like to see Rob Zombie or Godsmack tour with Disturbed. That would SO rock!

I heard it is going to be Korn or Godsmack, but I don't know how reliable my "source" is. Either way it is going to rock and I can't wait!

I wouldn't mind if it's Korn. It's funny cuz Korn is from my town, but I've never seen them live. If it is Korn then that increases the chances they play here again since it is their hometown (or so I would hope). I probably won't go if it's in LA. I wasn't impressed by Disturbed performance at Uproar so I'm not willing to drive far to see them again any time soon.

If it were Dust I'd prob. have to go see a couple of extra shows myself. I have seen them 4 times and every time was a treat. Such an underrated band.

I don't think it will be Sevendust. David made it seem like its a band they've never really toured with and they toured with Sevendust early last year. I'm leaning towards Korn.

well you have to assume it wont be sevendust as their album has been out for a while and they are not big enough to co-headline but may still appear on the bill.

i think it will either be Korn or possibly limp bizkit due to their album coming out just before this tour would begin.

I've already seen Trivium before, but that was before they changed their sound according to my friend. Don't care at all for this line up, but we'll have to wait and see if its the same for the US.

According to their Facebook, expect a big announcement concerning MAAWV this Sunday the 21st, 7PM EST/4PM PST.


[EDIT]: Ok, I've noticed that both Disturbed and Korn have a tab on their Facebooks that says OFFER. Now both of theirs have the same message with the same picture...so I'm going to go out on a limb and say I'm 99.9999999% sure Korn will be on MAAWV.

[EDIT]: Well, now Korn said something about a big co-headlining announcement for Sunday on their Facebook.

Wikipedia says Disturbed, KoRn, As I Lay Dying, Sevendust, Trivium, and Art of Dying. If this is the lineup I will do backflips.
