The band's first stop is in Sturgis, SD on 8/13, then the acutal Uproar tour starts the following Tuesday (8/17 -I think)... What I'm asking is for you to post your review of your Uproar experience, whether you go to just see Disturbed, or all the bands, all the other stuff that will be there, or whatever.

Make sure you put the city where you saw the show, and just some thoughts about what you liked, didn't like, tolerated, etc.

For example, I'd put:

City: Tulsa, OK
Venue: BOk Center
Date: Sept 8th
Write review here: (then write out your thought about the show, experience, etc.)

Have fun with it! I look forward to reading all the reviews...I hope you have as much fun recalling your experiences!

The show in Sturgis is tomorrow... anyone going? If you are, tell us all about it! I'd love to go, but I have school tomorrow and I'm housesitting until the 18th for my sister.

You can use the format above in the first post, or just write about it... just tell us where you saw the band and how the show was in your opinion.

^That's a great idea, but some venues won't allow you to have video cameras, so check with the venue before you go.

First off I tried to get the day off from work but was too late in getting a request form. I finally got it off having to sacrifice my two off days for weds. Then as soon as I went home I bought tickets Tues night. There were only about a dozen tickets left. I got lucky. I went with my bros and friends.

We had to take two cars as all five of us could not fit in same car. We got there at 4:30 or so. When we got there Airborne was playing, I did not know who they were. The rest of the bands I knew. When Hell Yeah came on at the yeagermeister stage, we stayed there play some WWE 2011 game they had on display. They also had RockStar energy drinks and gum. One was called rockstar recovery and was lemonade and tasted good. the other one not so much. which was the energy cola. it tasted flat. then went to the main stage and stayed there til the end. Hailstorm, StoneSour, and Avenge Sevenfold were good. We got into the mosh-pit when A7X (failed hanging harness visibly got away from neck)was preparing to play. I was quite bored because I haven't heard most of their songs.

When disturbed showed up we tried to get as close as possible to the gates near the stage. Mosh-pits started and kept getting pushed forward. David Draimon was so close i thought that i could touch him. I was screaming as loud As i can with the lyrics to the songs to as much of the time the band was playing. The LCD background was kick-ass. audience wanted a encore but it did not happen. The tour was awesome, if i could tour with uproar I would do it. So much fun.

Well I forced my dad to take up to New York for the concert (its a 2 1/2 hour drive). It was so worth it. The unfortunate part was that we got there in the middle of Stone Sour's set. I was cool with it though because I got to see my three favorite bands performing. The venue had a pit the front then seats then a pit in the back. We stood at the front of the back pit.

Stone Sour ended with "30-30-150". Corey Taylor had the kind of energy you could of hoped for. Avenged Sevenfold came out with energy (a fake guy was suspended from the ceiling by his neck). They played their best songs, Beast and the Harlot was one of the better ones. In the middle they brought up a cool pic of Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan and played a slower song off of their new album "So Far Away". They ended with Unholy Confessions. I was next to 2 mosh pits.

This concert was held inside a tent but the top only covered up to the middle of the seats. By the time we were waiting for disturbed to get ready, the rain began to come. Disturbed started out with Asylum well backed with a cool video sequence. They went right into The Game after that. After playing that crowd favorite, David looked at the pouring rain in the back and said to us, "It seems the Gods are angry. Are you guys ready to fight back!?!" Then Prayer started. The rain stopped in the middle of their set. The mosh pit behind me got much bigger and there were a bunch of guys full of mud going crazy in it. Down With The Sickness was a great way to end it all. At my venue there was a giant video screen aside from the stage to my left that was a great thing to get good views from.

Literally last night was one of the greatest nights in a while for me. This once again reminded me of why disturbed is my favorite band. The concert experience was something no other band has pulled off, with the fire, video sequence, lights, and everything. Now I wasn't even talking about the music performance which was just amazing. They sounded awesome!

I haveseen some Disturbed shows, butthis one was nuts. In my mind the show didn't truly start until A7X got on and HOLY SHIT they put on a perfect performance. I was honestly worried that Disturbed would fall short cause so many people left after but i managed to push up right to the guardrail and watched as the place re-filled withall the people from the other stage. The set-list was amazing and they truly pushed the limit on what they could preform in an hour.
My ears are still ringing and the memories still fresh, and i hope neither of those things change.

Agreed! Amazing show. Disturbed and A7X were insane, I was glad to hear Another Way To Die! I really hope to go to another show sometime.

Wow, you guys! Thanks so much for posting your reviews of the Uproar shows you've been to! I've enjoyed reading them. I'll post mine as well after the show in Tulsa on Sept. 8th...

But I know there are more shows... keep the reviews coming! Those who have been can relive their experience, and those who haven't gone yet will know what to look forward to.

Horns up my brothers, my sisters, my blood!

I had a really great time last night we(mydad and I) were only able to see a couple second stage bands because there was a long line getting but we saw hail the villian and one other one I don't remember because I really don't even listen to Stereo Fallout,New Medicine,Hail the Villian,Airbourne because these bands are new to me I have never herd of them before and also Halestorm was extremely amazing and so was Stone Sour and Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed was the best out of all those bands so everyting was really great.I also wanted to put that my dad didn't bring his camera to take any pictures because last year when we went to Music as a Weapon 4 4/22/09 my took 300 pictures and some were taken of the other bands but the most pictures that were taken were of disturbed. So there really wasn't a need to take any pictures this time and also because my dad didn't really feel like carrying around this time.

Okay my brothers, my sisters, my blood-- I just got back to my hotel room from the BOk Center, and I am one exhausted, exhilirated, and happy Disturbed girl!

City: Tulsa, OK
Venue: BOk Center, 200 S. Denver
Date: 8 Sept. 2010
Review:

First off, Hell Yeah was not there due to weather and flight delays; I kinda really wanted to see them. However--

The outdoor portion, just the bands and vendors, were moved to the Tulsa Convention Center because it's been raining cats and dogs here all fucking day. No tattoo artists, no wrestling....

I saw two bands there-- one who's name escapes me at the moment. They're from Kansas somewhere, and they're managed by a friend of our own John Moyer. John was there... when I saw him, I casually walked up to him and asked if I could get a picture, and he agreed. He said to wait until this band was done. So I waited patiently. Then he decided about a minute later that he could help me out. I got three pics with him, and he was the nicest guy! I'll post one of them as soon as they're done downloading from my overused digital camera.

The second band at the Convention Center was Hail the Villian, and they were off the hook!

I then headed over to the BOk Center for the four bands that were playing there (Halestorm, StoneSour, A7X, and Disturbed). The first three were great to listen to live. I've never seen anyone sweat as much as Corey Taylor of StoneSour though! He sweat more than Danny did, I think!

A7X was great and they paid tribute to "the Rev", which was touching, though I can't remember the name of the song they played during the tribute.

But Disturbed... what can I say? The video beginning with Remnant/Asylum was incredible! I think I may have stood there four rows from the front with my mouth agape, it was so visually stunning.

Then the moshing and crowd surfing (both supposedly prohibited by the venue...riiiight!) began in earnest, and I have never, ever been so close to so many people all at once! I finally made it to the front during the last couple of songs. I'm sure I'll be covered in bruises in the morning. Right now, I'm covered in rain and beer and Lord knows what else.

It was, by far, the best concert I've ever seen... and Disturbed did not disappoint in the least. My head's still buzzing from all the cigarette smoke (venue is allegedly non smoking, but, again... riiiiight!), the music, and the memories I'll have for a life time. When's the next time they're be here? Better yet... when's the next time they'll be closer to where I am?

I am beat. I'm gonna grab a shower because I smell like a brewery and hit the sack.

The most important thing I take from this experience....I SURVIVED THE MOSH PIT!!!!!! LOL ...my feet are killing me!

Pix when I get home. Promise.

I saw more pregnant women and little kids at this show last night! I just ran into a kid maybe 5 or 6 years old who went, and when I asked him which band he thought was the best, he said Disturbed was! He also said that he liked A7X, but couldn't understand them...

Man, I wish MY parents had been that cool to take me to a rock concert when I was five! I went to my first one at 16! I'd be considered a late bloomer now! My oldest son went to his first just after his 12th birthday.

As promised-- me with John:
