This is gonna be unreal

I followed Bill Oberst, Jr. on Twitter... and he followed me back!

I sent him a message thanking him for the follow, and that re: video that I wouldn't want to meet David in a dark alley on a moonless night (if he was going to kick my ass LOL), and that I looked forward to seeing the video.

This morning, I get a Direct Message from him:

billoberstjr: re David & Distiurbed vid - it will run just before he takes stage 4 Asylum tour - ends w him escaping ambulance - very cool! Have great day

One- I didn't think he'd follow me back. I could see him thinking "oh, another Disturbed fan..." or something.

Two- I never thought he'd respond to my tweet, then I get a Direct Message from him.

He's a pretty cool dude, IMO...

So basically he's driving with a girl or something, gets in a crash, the girls dies and he's alive but barely. They take him in an ambulance and its him fighting out. That sounds really cool

Oh god... This sounds wicked! Damn good stuff

The only part of the video that I was given info for was that David fights someone in an ambulance and escapes... I guess it's a given that a woman dies or has died at some point. How that happens, I don't know. Guess we'll have to wait for the video... but it does sound intense!

I read somewhere that the vid for AWTD was going to be out sometime in July. Still looking for that. Also read somewhere that the Vid for Asylum will be out just before Uproar kicks off (Aug 17). So, Im looking forward to seeing these music vids soon.

Well, it's July 23rd... where's the official video for AWtD? They got a little over a week now LOL

As for Asylum, according to the direct message I got on Twitter from Bill Oberst, Jr., that video should be out just before Uproar begins (as mentioned above).

I certainly hope the official vid for AWtD is a hell of a lot better than the stupid lyric video. The newscast theme was a little lame for my liking, but that's just me, I guess.

its aug 3rd. its 14 days before uproar starts. that means we will get 2 videos 1 right after another within that time. im shaking with exitment

why stone sour release the video before disturbed with their record comming out the 7th september, after disturbed.

Ok here's my opinion.

I think he was literally talking about the tour. Like before the band goes onstage. We've recently heard alot about how this is going to be a very theatrical style preformance for the tour, so could he be talking about that specifically? As in, the music video (or part of it) is going to play and then they're gonna go onstage?

Just a thought, due to the way he worded it

Plus the leaving in an ambulance sounds wicked, i think the message of the song is truly going to be brought across.

That's an interesting thought. I didn't read that into the message when I got it. It's a possibility that could happen. I'd still like to see it before then if possible.
