did anyone notice all the haters who commented under the section that announces "another way to die" going to number one?....i don't get why these people still post on a disturbed forum if they no longer like disturbed........i've been a fan for over 10 years and i don't understand what these said people are talking about.....one girl was pissed because they had gotten so big and "they don't treat their fans the same"......they've always been awesome to me and no....they can't play the really small venues anymore....they're huge....that's what happens....duh?.......i was pretty angry.

I agree with you 100 percent, to this day i still do not understand these morons who don't seem to understand anything about Disturbed. I have been a fan since the Sickness, not just a fan, but a believer in this band, i knew from day one they were my favorite band and they had the music that made me feel, no pun intended but Indestructible, and they are the only band to do this for me, they are the greatest musicians on the planet, the greatest band to ever step on stage. You don't have to be a die hard fan but these people need to stop complaining, cause after awhile, you just sound like a whining broken record.

there not true fans if you dont like the band dont go on there forums its that simple why run a disturbed site or be a fan if you no longer like them go listen to something else

I don't believe in blindly following a band either, but I do agree that if you don't like a band to not post in their forums. I have no problem with people that criticize them, but at least let it be constructive criticism with legitimate reasons. Disturbed still hit smaller venues, it's not like they only play arenas. Sure, they don't play in bars now, but a band as popular as they are not going to play in bars anymore.

Yeah, my exgirlfriend liked them a lot when she was younger and when they weren't as famous, and even baught their first CD, sickness. But now she says they are horrible and are mainstream attention hogs. I'm like wtf... Just because they get famous and make a crap load of money doesnt mean they forgot what the music stands for.

That is what will happen to any band, singer, actor, etc. They'll get famous, and those who either don't like them, or used to like them are going to say they've changed, they don't do this or that anymore, etc.

I, too, have been a believer in this band for at least ten years. The first time I ever heard anything by them, I was hooked. I don't care if they play small clubs, big arenas, huge outdoor festivals... they deserve to be where they are because they worked for it! If someone can't deal with that and only have negative things to say about them, that's their problem and not Disturbed's. If you don't like the band anymore, then don't bash them on a forum dedicated to them. Take your hate elsewhere. It's not welcome here.

People said the same thing about slipknot. "They became too mainsteam and ruined it for me". Uhhhh, waddafuck?

I like this page MUCH better than the last one's i was on. No matter where you go now someone's saying of how Disturbed sucks... How is that even possible to consider?

That is so great. When I went to Metallica this year, i saw a 35 year old man with his two sons. They're weren't older than 10 and they knew all the lyrics to the Metallica songs

And at the Aerosmith concert, parents with kids even younger than that, with tiny AC/DC t-shirts.

LOL I'm the one who turned two of my sons on to Disturbed!

I've been a hard rock/metal fan since I was about 11 or 12 years old...and I'm in my 40's now.

@Bowers-- I have an 11 year old niece who can not stand Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana or Justin Bieber. She listens to Taylor Swift mostly. Her mother (my sister) deemed that "safe". But, my niece has Green Day on her iPod, and I don't think her parents know it. LOL (teen rebellion starts young!)

^^ Not to go off topic, but you gotta give Green Day some respect. Sure, they're not metal, but they're one of the most successful rock groups in the world. Plus, they're the reason why i got hooked on rock at a young age, thereby leading to Disturbed. (Just my opinion).

Btw i have an 11 year old cousin and we talk metal every time we get together. Honestly just the best kid. Very glad that the music the world thinks is 'good' hasn't corrupted him like so many others.
