It is difficult to make a cover album. You have to make these songs you choose sound like your own and change them to something closer to your style. You also have to respect the tracks. I don't like it when people "rape" tracks to make something completely different that has nothing to do with the original.

On the other hand, if there is any band that could do a great job in this task like Metallica did, I am pretty sure it is :Disturbed: . Probably Opeth too, no one else.

Choosing songs is difficult. I guess they should do Sanctuary by Maiden along with Fade to Black and Living after Midnight. A harder version of Ramble On by Led Zeppelin, maybe Neon Knights from Sabbath. I already see how difficult it would be for any band, even for Disturbed Indestruct , to make a great record out of these epic songs that came to my mind. Ban him

Nice, My Picks for Disturbed to Cover songs From Iron Maiden, Maybe The Famous "Fear Of The Dark" Or yet better "The Trooper", and Metallica's "Disposable Heroes" & Master Of Puppets", Maybe The Dead Kennedys "Holiday In Cambodia", maybe they should do Guns & Roses "Welcome to the jungle" & "Sweet Child Of Mine", Blue Oyster Cult's "(Don't Fear) The Reaper", also Judas Priest's "Breaking The Law" like they did with "Living After Midnight", there's more songs from Artist for Disturbed To Cover, i might named 200,000 songs to cover if so, man that's alot!

I'd really like to see Disturbed put out a cover album!
Maybe with these songs?

Fade to Black - Metallica
The Unforgiven - Metallica
Sulfur - Slipknot

Honestly, I'd probably love ANYTHING they cover!

I would so like them to play stinkfist again dan played that track well i really wanna see them rework princes of the universe by queen and make it their own like they did with Shout 2000 and Loc they were really good covers the U2 was not bad but they way the worked those 2 songs and made them their own was amazing i just think a queen track would set the tone for a really good cover album

I like the concept- and I saw that someone mentioned Dream On by Aerosmith. I honestly don't think that David's voice can take the high notes at the end. I know he can hit them... I just don't think he can do it and not hurt himself.

My opinion and nothing more.

View user profile
Really? David would love to cover that song, i find it awesome and cool if Disturbed Covered Aerosmiths Dream On, which i think is going to happened!

Hey, if he can do it and not wreck his voice, then more power to him. I will love him all the more for covering a classic like Dream On. It's one of my favorite Aerosmith songs- that and Sweet Emotion. I just don't think that David can do it and not damage his voice. I would LOVE to be proven wrong though.
