Mistress here....

I live, breath, eat, sleep and definitely dream Disturbed. I own an iPod with nothing on it but Disturbed (sad little thing aren't I?) Oh wait...look there is other music on it.. how'd that get there? Ok, I only listen to Disturbed except for on long trips and thats questionable. I annoy all around me with my obsession with the band and thought I might best fit in here :)

Hey I just bought myself a pod as well and just got all of disturbs albums as of yesterday and today loaded all of them on my pod. I am fairly new to distubed but I am hooked and can't seem to stop listening to them especially when I am stressed they seem to calm me down.

Definitely soothing music. Helps me de-stress before after and during work, at home etc.... slips me into an alternate world where the BS of the day doesn't exist. Thanks for the welcome, hope to see you too.

Wish I could say The same thing..I have tried and got nowhere...tried implementing a new rule, the driver picks what is listened to and yup no luck...

My sentiments exactly! Everyone who gets in my car know that I'm
picky about who touches my radio especially when Disturbed is on.

you guys are so lucky that disturbed play so many concerts in the states. we get one a year if we're lucky ova here nd they usually go to auckland. luckily they came to chirstchurch last year.

Occasionally I allow them to play something else but they must ask permission and they very seldom play the whole song unless I have given the okay and of course we ultimately go back to my pick which is.......(drum roll).....Disturbed. I keep the cord to the iPod in my lap and no one dare reach for fear of pulling back bloody stumps.

LOL I agree that Disturbed is oddly calming to me. Usually metal gets me all bouncy and riled up, which Disturbed does very well also, but they are the only metal I've found that can really soothe me. It's David's voice man.
