I think Asylum is pretty much Believe but with more complicated stuff on the instrumental side and then of course some other elements sprinkled in the mix. you peoples thoughts?

the lyrical side is dark but musically its quit light like believe yea i went down well with the fans that's the most important thing plus i love that album but im not gonna choose it over TTF just yet lol

it's like Indestructible and Believe with a hint of The Sickness in the song Warrior. Indestructible's still my fave album, but Asylum's my second ;)

I've noticed that in the Believe album, there were alot of pauses in the songs and only Fuzz was playing the bass for a second or two, and they used the same technique in Asylum. If Indestructible was aiming for a sickness vibe and Asylum was musically like Believe, does this mean their next album could be more like TTF? Thats just a wild guess though because Disturbed always comes up with something new and amazing.

The song "Asylum" reminds me more of the TTF album because its so much heavier than any of the other tracks on the album.

I disagree... I think Asylum is entirely its own album. It is (to me) their most complicated yet straight forward album thus far. Believe (a very good album) was more on the softer, lighter side of Disturbed. Asylum is Dark and heavy. Its a Disturbed album for sure, hints of every album lay inside, however if I had to say it was like anything I would say its an improved Sickness crossed with Indestructible. Too much anger for it to be Believe

some of the melodies were musically like Believe imo, but nevertheless it wasn't an Indestructible 2.0 or Believe 2.0, it was it's own, just like Godserenity said.
