Hello everyone!
I know I haven't posted anything as of late, but better late than ever....right?
Anyway, I thought I would share some of my drawings.
The first three are drawings of DISTURBED icons like "The Guy", the "Believe" symbol, and a drawing of a "Ten Thousand Fists" icon. I did these when I was a little younger and had a lot of time on my hands.
The other is a drawing I did for a final project in my 2D Design class at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
It depicts the Oroborus, or Uroborus I don't know; same thing, a snake making a full circle by eating its own tale. The Oroborus is supposed to symbolize self-reflexivity, cyclicality, and, in some texts that I have read, reincarnation, like the Phoenix. The other objects at the bottom are two pieces of an hourglass that has been broken and sand is pouring out of it. The significance of this drawing is that with this constant cycle of rebirth, or reincarnation, time is meaningless.
I've dubbed this "The Folly of Time."
I know these drawings are flat, but they show my growing progress in the arts.
I had to edit them in Photoshop to enhance the quality and add a little “kick” to them.
Take a look at them. Comment them. Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
