Based solely on musical talent my vote is Fuzz. The first two albums were more bass driven while the last 2 focus more on guitar with the bass more subdued.

Fuzz is better by sheer talent. John is better because he's given Dan the freedom to rip into solos, which is what the band needed.

My vote was cast for Fuzz.

Well since I am new to disturbed and for awhile didn't even know they had a different bassist, but since I have been listening to all the cd's back to back, I will have to say the new bassist John is probably good, because he works with the band and he lets Dan really show his talent and he is very talented.Actually they all are.

Because John adds the element of vocals in live shows, I have to say John. Really, their both very good at their art and fit into the style well.

The Bass did stick out when Fuzz was around but John adds a certain kick to Disturbed that I can't exactly describe, so if I HAD to choose, I'd keep john.

so does anyone else like john in the band? I personally think he's a great addition, and also a good singer. I think he should maybe cosing some songs with david, but that's just me. Anyone else have an opinion?

john moyer is awesome and is better than fuzz as fuzz never seemed to be one with the rest of the band unlike john who fits in well plus his world class mutton chops just rule Lol

Deffinately Fuzz. I mean the first albums, especially The Sickness, were the best albums by Disturbed. Fuz is deffinately the better bassist.

Well this my first time ima try to make this as understandable as i kan...(lol?)Ahright what i want to talk about is the not so spoken topic of bass in The Band, as a musician i see alot of open possibilities for better more complex bass lines. In The Sickness Fuzz had great percussive lines, wich some dude actually thought they were rap...i know. And dont get me wrong Moyer's lines are badass, especially on Perfect Insanity, which i kinda like his better than Fuzz's in a way. And er go one of the aspects of the evolving in The Band, they went forom a finger to a pik bassist, wich maybe the reason wich Fuzz was let go of the band, the need to grow, i mean Fists is the first mayor step of growth, the rythmitic evolution is bad fukin ass, and everything of it actually including obviously vocals Head Banger And well i guess thats all i wanted to say, maybe more but kant think of right now, thanks and have a nice day. Rockout

Well musically i feel fuzz was the better basses and was used more in the music than john moyer i do love moyers bass on Divide and Perfect Insanity also fuzz was let go because of personal problems with him and David but yeah Moyer is great himself and hope they used him more in the upcoming album. Also having john doing backup vocals helps alot.
