Remiel
Stricken
I was sitting in the chatbox, being bored. After a few random sentences just to keep myself from being disconnected, I started writing to keep myself entertained. I bring this stupidity to you, free of charge.
[08:31:05] Remiel : Don't disconnect me Chatbox.
[08:31:12] Remiel : I'm watching you....
[08:37:06] Remiel : *couch*
[08:37:12] Remiel : Couch?
[08:37:17] Remiel : *cough*
(It starts here V)
[08:40:29] Remiel : Perched atop a flickering street light, Remiel waits.
[08:41:22] Remiel : The night has faded and the sun is revealing itself on the horizon, but he must get one kill before he flees from the light.
[08:42:06] Remiel : Impatiently twitching his fingers, he stares down the streets waiting for anyone to enter his sight.
[08:42:48] Remiel : "No need to be picky at this hour," he said to himself, "I just need a few ounces to make it to the next dark cycle..."
[08:44:48] Remiel : With the sun continuing to creep above the distant horizon, Remiel's twitching turns into a grasping of his perch.
[08:46:02] Remiel : The power of his grip puts dents in the metal of the street lamp below him. Gritting his teeth and grinding his fangs, he mutters, "I picked a bad spot to wait. There's no one coming down this road..."
[08:49:08] Remiel : Despite this, he waits still... Waits for anyone to enter his hunting range.
[08:50:47] Remiel : As the golden sphere sends its first rays toward the city structures, Remiel takes cover in his coat. After adjusting his hood and rolling down his sleeves, he resumes his perched position atop the lamp and continues to wait.
[08:55:39] Remiel : Growing more impatient, Remiel closes his eyes and strengthens his senses.
[08:56:27] Remiel : 'I can feel...' he thinks to himself, 'I can feel only one human life force nearby.'
[08:58:29] Remiel : Observing this fragile creature carefully, Remiel realizes that it is not coming in his direction. "Damn it," he growls, "This was a waste of time. I'm getting out of here before I'm sun-dried."
[08:59:25] Remiel : Leaping with force from his perch, Remiel shoots himself toward the shadows of the city alleys to take cover underground.
[09:00:26] Remiel : 'Next time... Next time I'll swim in a pool of blood.' He assured himself that he could do better, then hid himself away from the world until the darkness would come again.
It's just me writing about waiting in the chatbox when Bowers was the only other person online. I just thought it was interesting. Oh, Remiel's a vampire by the way, in case you didn't gather that.
